Welcome to TheBioDude!
A handpicked selection of the Dude's best desert plants for Red Eye Tree Frogs. These unique tree frogs like to spend their mornings and afternoons underneath larger, broad leaves. When the sun goes down these amphibians will shed and hunt. Large plants with sturdy leaves are a must for this species. Thick foliage allows for resting spots as well as territory organization if you have multiple in one vivarium. When given territories males will call, shake leaves when humidity is high and other males are present. Having the right plants does wonders for these amphibians. All plants are grown 100% organically with no pesticides, herbicides, or fertilizers.
Included in this kit is:
*All are 4" pot and vary in height and size*
x1 Golden Pathos, x 1 Arrowhead Vine x 1 Philodendron
Golden Pathos are one of the easiest, most common terrarium plants to grow, maintain, and have thrive in your terrarium. Growing upwards, sideways as well as creeping, these unique plants do not need bright light, can dry out, and will latch and grow onto different woods and surface such as cork bark, ghost wood and other terraria woods the Dude offers.
Arrow Head Vines - A great terrarium candidate, these plants can get rather tall if you let them. Growing mainly vertically these plants are very durable and can easily handle the weight of your frogs. These plants also grow in packs, which can be easily separated creating a whole new arrowhead vine every few months. A great way to add color, height and depth to your Red Eyes terrarium.
Philodendron - A very popular plant, these vining plants are great for initial ground cover or for mounting epiphytically in the terrarium. Red Eye's especially love these as their leaves are very broad.
