Clean up crew pack specifically picked for Crested Geckos. These arboreal lizards defecate everywhere. On the leaves, woods, and sometimes in humid hides. That is why the Dude provides two different types of Isopods that cover different sections of your terrarium. The Dairy Cow Isopods will be covering the top, while your whites cover the middle and bottom layers. The insects do not harm or bother the lizard. The isopods and springtails will help aerate the Terra Fauna while working with the Dude's BioShot to breakdown organic matter such as feces, shed and other organic waste.
Included in this pack is -
Dwarf White Isopods - These Isopods will tend to stay deep in the Fauna. Rarely if ever will you see them after they dug themselves deep into the dense substrate. Great for Fauna aeration, spreading nutrients and promoting root development. Approximately 10 mixed sized specimens per culture.
Powder Blue Isopods (The Dude's choice, depends on availability) - These larger isopods may fall victim to your gecko at one point, but these are fast isopods that can be a challenge to catch. These larger detrivores will break down feces and other organic matter much faster than the purples. Approximately 10 mixed sized specimens per culture.
Tropical Springtails - These larger springtails thrive in moist conditions and need a humidity of at least 30% to thrive. These springtails will concentrate in all layers of the substrate and leaf litter promoting the organic matter breakdown in your vivarium. Packaged in a 6 ounce container with at least a 10 day life cycle already established in the culture.
