This aloe variety has a combination of white and green foliage and small bumps, making for and interesting contrast in both color and texture. It will also sometimes have pink or red variegation. It will occasionally produce tall bloom stalks with coral-colored flowers.

Best for These Animals: Small to moderate-sized arid-dwelling reptiles, as well as some larger reptiles if they are less likely to dig it up or trample it.

Mature Plant Size & Root System: This aloe grows 6 to 12 inches tall and wide, with new foliage coming out from the center. It has a shallow, wide fibrous root system.
Temperature Tolerance & Placement in the Terrarium: High temperature tolerance. Best placed in front (low) or as a corner placement.
Edible & Side Effects if Ingested: Non-toxic if consumed, though this aloe is typically used for ornamental, not edible, purposes. If, by chance, ingested, succulents like aloe can help re-hydrate your pet as well as provide enrichment for your animals by allowing them to instinctively forage for food.
