Best for These Animals:

Small and medium sized reptiles and amphibians; a particular favorite of tree frogs and other arboreal (tree dwelling) animals, when mounted in high humidity environments.

Soil Depth:

All soil depths with proper drainage.
Can be mounted in high humidity environments.

Lighting:

Low to moderate indirect light (or low-level full-spectrum LED/UVB terrarium lighting) preferred.
Avoid placing directly under intense heat lamps — leaves can scorch easily.

Humidity & Misting:

Prefers high humidity (40% – 100%).
Ensure good air circulation to prevent mold.

Temperature Tolerance & Placement in the Terrarium:

Ideal range: 65–80°F (20–27°C), but can take between 60 and 85 degrees.
Avoid prolonged exposure below 60°F (15°C).
Best used as a front (low) groundcover, underplanting, or mounted (only in high humidity conditions).

Edible & Side Effects if Ingested:

Non-toxic to reptiles, amphibians, and most pets.
While not meant as a food source, accidental ingestion is harmless.
