Ocellated Skink (Chalcides Occelatus) Bioactive vivarium kit

Create a thriving, bioactive habitat designed specifically for Ocellated Skinks with this all-in-one Bioactive Vivarium Kit. Each component is carefully selected to replicate the skink’s native environment while supporting long-term cleanliness, plant growth, and natural behaviors. 

These unique skinks need a dense, deep layer of substrate to facilitate their extensive network of tunnels and burrows they will create. This will also provide necessary thermogradients required for this species. Hailing from Greece; rocks and other climbing surfaces are necessary for this species to thrive. With this species thriving on Terra Sahara, it is important to provide numerous biodegradables, climbing surfaces, multiple hides and plants for this active and inquisitive species. 

Being omnivores (they love Pangea with insects as a treat) we include plants that are safe if accidentally ingested (although they wont eat them purposely). Ensure your habitat is sealed, as they are Escape artists (especially neonates). 

Please note this kit does not contain the enclosure, clean up crews, or any UVB or heating elements your pet will need.
