Central American Banded Gecko (Coleonyx Mitratus) Bioactive Vivarium Kit

A complete, self-sustaining bioactive Central American Banded Gecko (Coleonyx Mitratus) complete terrarium kit. These geckos live in the arid and temperate flats in Central America and the southern United States. Inquisitive and unique, they are crepuscular and are very active and thrive when their conditions are met in a captive environment. In the wild, these geckos will retreat to their burrows and hides during the day, and venture out to hunt during the evening hours and nighttime. Utilizing our Terra Sahara, establishing the proper microclimate is a breeze and will easily allow you to create their entry burrows and allow them to do the rest. 

It is important to provide climbing surfaces that provide different basking opportunities as well as moisture gradients are needed for proper shedding, respiration and hydration. These geckos will utilize every inch you provide them; so its recommended to provide them a large habitat with plenty of options.  This species is an amazing alternative to Leopard Geckos or Fat Tail geckos with beautiful colors and a unique demeanor to boot.
