Best for These Animals: Frogs, tropical lizards, small to moderate-sized snakes

Soil Depth: Moderate to deep; can climb and root up wood.
Lighting: Part shade to bright light; do not place directly under heat lamp.
Humidity & Misting: Prefers humidity between 50% and 60%, but can take higher. Root system can grow in water features.
Mature Plant Size & Root System: Can reach up to 3ft tall and wide, occasionally larger, will reach up for light source and topple over to root along the ground, or in water.
Temperature Tolerance & Placement in the Terrarium: Between 65 and 85 degrees Fahrenheit, prefers between 70 and 80 degrees. Due to eventual size, it is usually best placed at the back or along the sides of the terrarium.
Edible & Side Effects if Ingested: As a member of the Araceae family, it can be mildly toxic if ingested. However, reptiles and amphibians do not feed on it.
